Join us in the Foothill MP Rm on Wednesday, February 3rd from 6:00 – 8:00pm. We will have a quick parent meeting, and then Susan Stone from Parent’s Place will be presenting a workshop for Foothill Families: Stop Yelling at Me! How to Increase Family Communication and Connection. In this workshop, participants will discuss the roadblocks to effective communication within the family. They will learn tips and strategies to re-connect, value everyone’s contributions, and build listening skills towards common goals and outcomes.
The agenda for the parent meeting includes: a quick discussion of funds spent to date, approval to pay for Spring expenses, approval of last year’s financial audit, and ratification of our updated bylaws.
Please join us! We have some Girl Scout volunteers who will do an art project with students in the back of the MPR while we have our meeting. For those of us who need this time slot for dinner, we’ll do a quick organization at the beginning of the meeting and order pizza — please try to arrive by 6pm!
